Just wondering what other people think. I've never broken anything before so not sure.
I had a hairline fracture in my ankle. Excruciatingly painful, more than I would have thought for a tiny break, but was fine after 4 weeks in walking boot. The boot came off 2 weeks before Christmas.
I walked a mile to tesco and back yesterday, and the pain was so bad ot kept.me awake at night. Pottering around the house in the day is fine, but any extended walking is still an issue.
I haven't been to fracture clinic was treated in miu and had a letter from clinic confirming. I know they'll see me if I want o as I'd rung for advice previously.
Would you expect to be able to.walk.a.mile without pain enough to keep you awake at night, 8.weeks after a hairline fracture?.
I take immunosupressants too and wonder if this has hampered healing.
