Simple as they’re oil free! I’m 25 currently taking acne treatment and oil free I’d recommend. I’ve found simple to be great! I’m using this but they have lots of options depending on their skin type. www.simple.co.uk/products/face-moisturisers-and-creams/protect-n-glow-rest-and-reset-72h-hydrating-gel.html

Look at the Good Things range.

Soutiner · 03/01/2021 10:33

Used to be able to buy it in Sainsbury’s. I don’t know if they still sell it as mine are no all independent adults now!

La Roche posay effaclar duo, it's very light but well moisturising. And has UV protection.

I first saw it on Instagram as a recommendation from a really good dermatologist who sufferers from acne.

Another vote for simple light moisturiser. Doesn't break me out

Another vote for this one. I change every now and then but keep going back to it as so light in texture.

Faith in nature is lovely

Facade1983 · 03/01/2021 10:44

I like Simple too. But does a teenager even need moisturiser?

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/01/2021 10:58

I have oily skin and don’t use moisturiser.

reluctantbrit · 03/01/2021 11:01

Simple just caused DD more spots not less.

She uses Neutrogena Clear & Defence since two years with a lot better results. But equally important to a moisturiser is that the cleanser is good and they have a good routine with gentle peeling and masks.

@Facade1983 - Teen skin needs a good moisturiser to help regulating the oil production which is often the reason for spotty skin.

Another vote of la Roche possy efacler

ShitUsername · 03/01/2021 11:25

Another vote for Simple, I use the daily detox mattifying moisturiser, it’s specifically for oily/blemish prone skin

burneydenr · 03/01/2021 11:29

Dermalogica Clear Start Hydrating lotion or La Roche Posay Effaclar

Pinkyandthebrainz · 03/01/2021 11:34

La roche posay, simple, pure (at M&S).

Keratinsmooth · 03/01/2021 11:37

I would try a serum rather than moisturiser, no.7 or bare minerals ones are good. Also don’t use liquid foundation, try a powder one instead? Bare minerals or similar

Thanks all!
