Can anyone recommend something?

Dc1 was given "The places you'll go" so I'd like something different but similar for dc2?

Please help 😩

How old are they?

A good book to give to a teenager for passing exams is something in which she or he is interested. It's best to ask them what they would like.

A card with a tenner in it is always welcome.

Sorry, just re-read the title where you mention a teenager.

I would give them something a bit more grown up, maybe as an heirloom quality gift based on what they enjoy eg a beautiful science fiction anthology from the Folio Society, though this will be far more expensive than the Dr Seuss book bought for DC1.

If you want something comparable, maybe a collector's edition of The Velveteen Rabbit, Little Prince or the Boy/Fox/Mole/Horse book?

How old? What are their interests?

I gave DD Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder, as a Christmas present. But she is inspired by philosophy and sociology, asking questions, looking for a deeper understanding.
