What do you cook in your air fryer?

And are they worth buying?
We have a deep fat fryer and I won’t lie, I absolutely love, love chips cooked in it (which I allow myself the treat of having once a week) BUT it is a deep fat fryer so not the healthiest of things and stinks the house out!
I’ve been looking at the air fryers and am wondering if I’d cook more dishes in one of these as I only ever do chips in the deep fat fryer.
And are the cheaper ones any good? I don’t want to spend too much tbh.
What sort of things do you cook in yours and do you use it much?

Have an air fryer for family of four, when its full it takes 25 mins to get crispy chips but they are dry, never like oil fried chips. But we re used to them now and kids are just as happy with them. Chicken Drumsticks are the only other thing I do and they are nice.. I like the guilt free feeling, get one big enough cause it ain't quick... you need to cook enough in 1 go

Baked potatoes. Roasted chickpeas as a snack. Veggie sausages. Sunday cooked breakfast minus eggs and beans. Tonight I did panko quorn fillets. Roasted veg. I could go on. Absolutely love my air fryer.

Yes, you can cook chips in them and they taste great.
Really good investment as l cook nearly everything in them, although l am veggie so have never done meat, and can't advise you on that.

If you are cooking for a lot, l would definitely recommend getting one of the larger ones.
Do not recommend the cheap Telfal model, l got in Argos, broke after 3 months.
Aside from that. Go for it!
