I've used a babysitter regularly to look after our 14mo. She's terrible and my job changed so needed more hands on childcare. She hasn't been here for a few weeks, and just told her that the baby will to nursery. She could still comethis week but there's no contract and the hours would vary wildly. I could.also pay her two weeks as a thank you/notice. My DP thinks this is nuts and no notice is fine. I feel.bad though as much as she was more of an obstacle than help at times.
