Any geocachers out there?

Recently discovered the fun to be had with geocaching. Just notched up my 100th find yesterday, and have hidden a couple of caches of my own.

Found a very cool one yesterday, disguised as a snail.

We've just started geocaching, after meaning to try it for ages. It's so brilliant! Pretty glad we waited until now, as it turns out - I feel like the novelty will probably wear off for DS but hopefully not until it's got us through this winter at least.

I tried a few years ago but there weren't many here where I live. Maybe there'll be more now?

Great way to liven up the old walks.

We do it because as a military family we move a lot, Geocaching gives us a means to find all those little walks that only the locals know about.

We try and find circular routes so they start and finish where we have parked, always take a pen, some tweezers for Nano logs and some small bits to swap if the hidden caches have things in (bouncy balls, stickers, little animals, badges etc).
