So 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone. What has been your high point and what has been your low point?

What are your wishes for yourself for 2021?

I'll start off:
2020 high was passing my HNC childhood practice in July. My low point was losing my early years practitioners job yesterday due to covid!

My wish is to find a new job in early years.

High point- realising that I didn't have to stick in a job I hated just because it paid well and taking the leap to apply for uni to retrain - I start in a few weeks.

Low point not being able to see my elderly grandmother who's dementia is now so bad that she doesn't remember me when I ring.

Sorry you lost your job OP. That sucks. My high was having my 3rd baby. My low was my 35 year old cousin dying of cancer a month later.

High- we moved into our first house at the beginning of the year. We've really made it our own and it's given us a big distraction amid the pandemic.

Low- we had 3 miscarriages in 2020.

Wish for 2021- I live in the US and I desperately want to fly home to see my family. And a successful pregnancy.

@HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee thank you a big achievement especially during lockdown. It’s great when you have good colleagues, makes work so much easier.

@jellybe good luck with uni, i went back to college at 43, it’s never too late to retrain and like you I haven’t seen my gran since March, she is in a home and very poorly.

@Cowgran a bitter sweet year for you.

@MouseholeCat sending you lots of good luck for this year.
