Considering purchasing now it's new year.
Can anyone recommend or not?
I usually do Asda click & collect or Aldi.

I’d order from them a few times before committing to a delivery pass. I’ve only had deliveries from Sainsbury’s a few times because lots of substitutions.

Like pp says check out your service. We moved this year, in our old address Ocado were shocking, missed bags of shopping totally. Sainsbury’s hit and miss. Waitrose were excellent. At our new address Sainsbury’s are pretty good apart from short dates on bread and weird substitutions. Waitrose regularly miss entire chunks of shopping such as bakery or frozen or baby formula.

We've always shopped at Sainsbury's but never used home delivery, but for some reason we were given a free one month Sainsbury's delivery pass in October. It was great and we barely got any substitutions so we bought an annual pass when it expired. Went for a midweek one as it was much cheaper and so far haven't had any problems getting a slot even though restricted to three days only (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). The only week we've been left short of things is when the fridges broke in the store so there was no cheese, milk etc but that would've been the same if we'd gone into the store ourselves. Drivers have all been punctual and friendly and quick to offer a refund if a tin is dented etc when unpacking. So big thumbs up from me, but could depend on where you live and what your local store is like.

I've had a midweek pass for a few years, now. As above, I would recommend trying a few deliveries before you commit. I can't get a lot of things delivered that I can buy in my closest store and if it wasn't for the Pandemic restrictions, I wouldn't have renewed, this year.

You can get a few months at a time ,I got a three monther just before Christmas so that I could get first dibs on Christmas slots ....Worked a Dream.

We've had one for years and are happy with it. We also have a midweek one and use their new 4 hour slot if we want one outside of those days as it's only £1.

I get Sainsbury's every week and I have no problems. A few subs but not many and usually something appropriate. I don't have a delivery pass though as saver delivery is only £1 so no point.
