Christmas Bauble storage

I want to organise them and save some space. What storage boxes/solutions/tips can you share? Looking forward to seeing your ideas!

I use a big Ikea box with the festive linens to pack them.

Mine are in assorted cardboard boxes inside large IKEA plastic boxes. Originally they were sorted into separate room boxes plus tree and lights. That seems to have gone wrong somewhere along the line though!

I need to get all the boxes down and sort everything out I think.

They have others on their website for baubles only, without the compartments in the lid.

@Joinedtosayhello I think that’s the sort of storage I need, but ideally cheaper!

DH bought a 35L Really Useful Storage Box from B&Q that has inserts to store baubles. Cost about £16 I think.

I have the Aldi bauble boxes. Bought them last year. They are cushioned around the outside to protect the baubles but I also put some tissue paper in each section and a layer of bubble wrap on the top. This is for all the baubles that don't come with their own boxes.
It's great as majority of my baubles are now in 1 place instead of spread about in multiple little random boxes. Then the decorations with their own boxes go inside 1 very large plastic box with the lights and tree topper
