Explosive poos, please help!

My daughter has just turned 1 and she’s been doing explosive poos for a while now and they’re just not getting any better. She’s been dairy free for about 6 weeks but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference. I have spoken to her GP a few times but they say as long as she’s eating, ok in herself and having wet nappies then it’s probably just “one of those baby things”. But it just doesn’t seem right! And the nappy changes are becoming increasingly difficult with her constantly being on the move but covered in poo 😩 I wondered whether anyone has had a similar experience and if you ever got to the bottom of what was causing it, or whether they do just grow out of it? Any advice would be appreciated, not sure what else I can do at this stage

You could try adding more bulking vegetables like pumpkin and high fibre cereals and wholemeal pasta and bread and bananas are good.

The dietcians reccommended a high strength probiotic for DS1 after his digestive system didn't settle after going dairy/ egg/ soya free. It did help.

Prior to that, every nappy was a neck to knee explosion. It was simpler to just hose him down with the shower at home. If out, it took half a pack of wet wipes to deal with it.
