Did anyone watch fireworks outside at midnight with DC?

They were great here- really enjoyed them!

I took DS outside to watch, but there wasn’t a single one! So we both come in disappointed as usually around here there is a fair few.

Not outside, but DD said she couldn't sleep so I let her come downstairs to see the new year in and watch the fireworks on TV, it was a real treat for her because I usually play hard ball when the "I can't sleep" excuse is bandied about! Which seems to be most nights at the moment.

Yes we did. We live on a hill and it’s beautiful seeing the whole town lit up. There seemed to be more than ever this year

Yes. It was lovely. People came out of their houses and called "Happy New Year" to each other.

Yes they loved it. There were so many more than previous years

DC was on bed but DH and I saw fireworks at 11 O'clock out of front window for 10 mins and more out of back window at midnight for 3-4 minutes. The sky was so clear they really stood out.

Through the window. Unintentionally as they woke my baby up. Hey ho he enjoyed then and we snuggled in the new year together

It was weird here. One went off about 10pm that sounded like a bomb. Then nothing at midnight.

Nope, but I did hear some at 9:45 and 12:30 including an enormous boom.

We were lucky enough to see the London ones on TV from our house so we watched them from the top floor windows with the DC.
