How would you heat this up?

My lovely boss has just suprised me with 4 plated roast dinners for us to eat on New Years Day as we are self isolating. Now I didnt want to sound like an idiot to my boss so didn't ask but I actually don't know how I'm supposed to heat it up. We have a jug of gravy, 4 huge Yorkshire puds, and 4 plates of roast dinner with beef and all the veg. Do I just stick it in the microwave?

Don't microwave the Yorkshires. They go like stone.

Rest of it for 8 minutes in the microwave.

Put all roast veggies and Yorkshire pudding in the oven heat the gravy in a pan with beef everything will taste like it has been freshly made.

Honestly? I’d be very thankful then bin the lot.

You have no idea how long it’s been sat, how it’s been prepared or if it’s “Covid” safe.

But then I have an aversion to reheating food of unknown source I haven’t cooked myself, the last thing you need is food poisoning!

I'd heat the gravy on the hob, everything else in the oven.

*or everything else apart from the yorkshires in the micro-wahvay

HardAsSnails · 31/12/2020 13:21

I'd be tempted to un-plate it to heat:
Anything roasted in the oven
Non-roasted veg in microwave
Meat in a bit of gravy and cover with foil in oven
Yorkshire's will probably take 3-5 minutes in oven
Gravy in pan on hob or microwave

I'd microwave but do the Yorkshire's in the oven!
