I’m feeling anxious, depressed, a bit lost and overwhelmed at the moment. I’m finding it hard to focus or do anything constructive - frankly I just want to hide away and ignore the world.

I’m sure I’m not alone - everything is a bit tough right now for everyone (and I know I should be counting my blessings not moping).

So if you have any good strategies that help you pull when you are at a low ebb or need to pull yourself together, feel more positive and get a grip, please share!

Sorry you are feeling like this Flowers I can relate a little, I am very up and down at the moment. How about a very small list of things that are achievable today? Maybe put max 3 things on and make sure they definitely can be done. I always feel a bit more like I can manage if I’ve ticked things off - even if it is have a shower and put a wash on. Also, I’ve been finding even short walks helpful for resetting my head a bit.

Hi, I know the feeling. What helps me is to tell myself get up, get any necessary jobs done (household stuff, children/pets looked after, breakfast and lunch made etc) telling myself I can either go for a snooze later or sit on the sofa watching tv. Another thing if I feel very down is just to keep busy and tell myself keep busy through the day, go to sleep at night and I will (hopefully) feel better in the morning.

It usually passes but if it doesn't see your GP, if you aren't already, for possible depression.
