3 Years ago my OH bought us a 75" Samsung HD1080 all singing all dancing Smart TV, Samsung Gave 1 year warranty we declined to buy extended warranty thinking as he had spend over £3,000 it would last a very long time, just as long as our 15 year old LG that he was replacing, MMMM WRONG we have now got faint black lines coming from the bottom of the screen up to the middle, if you look from the side it looks like a line of candles and the effect they give off, we have rang Samsung and the Well Known Store we bought it from and yes you guessed it it is out of warranty and all repairs will need to be paid for.
My Question is has anyone else found that a cheaper Item has outlived a more expensive item. ??
Also has anyone got any ideas as to what the issue might be (OH thinks its the strip light at the bottom of the screen has gone)
