Leamington Spa primary catchment areas

Hello!

We are thinking of relocating from London to Leamington Spa in the next couple of years. I grew up near there and love it, but don’t really know much about the lay of the land these days. We have two kids - a girl who will start school in September 2022, and an older boy who will need to join year 3 at that time, or year 2 in September 2021 if we’re super-organised (unlikely!).

We haven’t honed in on an area to look at yet, but I’m curious to know how tight the primary school catchment areas are? Where we are in London at the moment, it’s impossible to get into the more popular primaries unless you live within a 0.2-0.3 mile radius of the school. Is this the same in Leamington?

Also, if anyone can recommend any schools in particular? We’re not religious and looking for state schools.

Thanks in advance - any advice massively appreciated! Smile

No idea about schools in the area but you can get this info on right move.

I chose a random house, scroll down to below the map and you’ll see the School info.
I’m not a million miles away from there and here you should get into your catchment school if in catchment as it’s less densely populated than london

Ok, thanks.
Yes, annoyingly Rightmove have recently taken catchment areas off, but if your impression is that you can get in if you’re a reasonable distance then that’s good to know!
