We need something to look forward to. It's in Europe in Aug 2022. Am I being too optimistic and a complete fool?

We wont be going anywhere even if we could at all in 2021 because of work, my university course etc.

I would like to think by summer 22, we all will be heading on holidays safely. Probably wise booking now, prices probably rocket close to that time.

Christ, I hope by August 2022 we are able to travel! Have you got full insurance / any other changes under Brexit?

If life isnt back to normal by august 2022 then we're all doomed!!

Jesus wept, do you really think it’s even remotely possible it won’t go ahead? We’ll all be living in caves by then if things aren’t sorted.

I went on holiday this year, And I’ve got two booked for next year. By 2022 I fully expect I’ll be back to my normal travelling.

All I can say is that my paramedic nephew is planning his wedding for May 2022. He is not expecting life to be normal much before that.

The only thing that worries me is travel companies/airlines going bust but as long as they’re ABTA protected you should be fine (aside from not getting your actual holiday)

2022? We had 2 this year (one pre covid) and have booked a few in 2021, all needing negative test beforehand. There are places where it is safe to go as long as we can prove that we are safe for them. We live a quiet life and have been keeping ourselves to ourselves, so want something to look forward to. Life must go on.
