Clinically vulnerable and new job in the NHS - what should I expect from occupational health?

I have an appointment with an occupational health nurse. I have an underlying health condition that puts me in the clinically vulnerable group but aside from that I am young and healthy.

What should I expect from occupational health in terms of whether they will make any adjustments? My role is not patient facing but one where social distancing is impossible.

Depending on the role quite possibly nothing. Lots of CV people working on the front lines in all sorts of roles. Just out of interest what role is not patient facing but can’t be distanced?

If the role requires that you are within a metre of someone for prolonged periods of time as opposed to just being in a shared workspace with them then I expect PPE will be offered as mitigation.
