Just lookup old copies of Just Seventeen or Jackie for top tips on how your Fave Guy points his feet towards you and mirrors your body language. Or something.

Sent me a text saying I love you, I fucking love you, out of the blue.

Bit blunt. I thought oh shit and went to bed.

He was just generally really nice and talked to me loads even when we were out with a group of people (we had mutual friends through work). He went away travelling about a month after we met (we were expats working somewhere people often come to backpack so both of us did lots of solo travelling). He spent every nights when he was away texting me for hours. That’s when I did sort of think maybe we could be more than friends. But generally it was just he was nice and polite and attentive and also that he kept his word. There was no messing about acting like a lad. He was just really solid and respectful. We’ve been married 12 years now. He’s still kind and respectful.

Chatted me up in a club, rang me the next day and asked me out. Went out with him where he was attentive and funny.
We did know each other though as we were at Uni. Together 23 years now.

Kept asking me to the pub every week for 3 months. I refused as I had homework! I was 16 and he was 19 and we were at our Saturday job 😂 Finally, we snogged at the Christmas party after he carried me over a puddle and the rest is history.

He asked if he could hold my hand.

Walked up to me (sober in the daytime) and asked if he could take me out to dinner.

I used to go out most Thursdays and after we first met I noticed he kept appearing in the ' end of the night ' pub most Thursdays and would make a beeline for me.

Mine pestered the life out of me for a month 😂
