Over the course of a few days I've received random messages off a friend on Messenger. We haven't chatted on Messenger for years but I can see the last chats between us. We do comment on each others FB posts regularly.
There's no text just links to what looks like YouTube videos. One was about a sporting event from years ago. I thought it was weird that she'd randomly sent this and nothing else and didn't click on it but left a comment "oh very nice" sort of thing. No response but today there was another video posted, this time about some murder investigation that I'd never heard of, although there's lots of info on Google. Again I haven't clicked on it but I'm wondering if she's been hacked. It just seems weird to send those and no message saying hi how are you doing or anything?
I did also recently receive one of those "Is this you in the video?" messages from a complete stranger and googled it and sure enough it's a scam. So I'm wondering if this is as well, perhaps someone has got into her account?!
