WhatWouldPhyllisCraneDo · 29/12/2020 14:57

Nope. It's still Christmas.

LivingMyBestLife2020 · 29/12/2020 14:57

I did mine this morning. It’s been up 6 weeks and I was sick of it

Roystonv · 29/12/2020 15:00

Not the tree but taken everything else down (cards, greenery, wreath etc) and had a sort out.

AriesTheRam · 29/12/2020 15:00

It never feels like Christmas to me after the 27th

All done and dusted - I have a lot of redecorating I need to do and wanted to get cracking anyway. Plus the needles were dropping like crazy.

twistedkaleidoscope · 29/12/2020 15:03

Mine came down on Monday felt much better having my living room back. Even sorted out all the toys and all the packaging it comes in.

Hairwizard · 29/12/2020 15:03

Took all but the living room tree down yesterday. Wanted to do a good clean and sort out. Didnt feel christmassy like it usually does this year so everything looked out of place come day after boxing day. Keeping main tree up til 6th but thats it.

AuntieMarys · 29/12/2020 15:42

Yesterday. Have fresh flowers everywhere now.

Justa47 · 29/12/2020 15:46

All done today and yes to the flowers

MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 29/12/2020 15:48

I'll do mine on the 1st January. It feels wrong to me to have the tree up in the new year. But we still have new year's eve to go and my tree is pretty, so I'm keeping it until that's over.

flatpack1 · 29/12/2020 15:48

Just done. Mostly because Im bored AF and nothing else to do.

Iamblossom · 29/12/2020 16:35

I've been known to put Christmas in its entirety back in the loft on Boxing Day, but this year its happening on New Year's Day.

SapphosRock · 29/12/2020 16:36

Yep. The baby kept trying to eat the pine needles.

Usually it makes it to new year.

MacDuffsMuff · 29/12/2020 16:40

I never put it up very early, always two weeks before Christmas and it comes down Jan 2nd. I know lots of people put them up mid November but I'd be so sick of it by now if I put it up so early. It's not quite pissing me off yet but I'll be ready to put it away by Saturday.

AvoidingRealHumans · 29/12/2020 16:43

Not yet, dreading it if I'm honest. I love having it up and always feel down when I pack it all away, will be taking it down on the 2nd so I can relax on Sunday ready for return to school and work.

justjuggling · 29/12/2020 21:16

Took the tree down yesterday and did everything else today - decorations back in the loft, Christmas bedding changed, outside lights packed away etc. Am currently enjoying sitting in a clean, tidy lounge knowing it’s all done!

DailyMailHater · 29/12/2020 21:26

Mine came down yesterday along with everything else all packed away followed by a massive cleaning blitz.

nocoolnamesleft · 29/12/2020 21:35

Not until 12th Night.

FuckOffDailyFailure · 29/12/2020 21:37

We're keeping ours up till the weekend. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It looks so nice, but yes, it does need to come down.

MaidofKent78 · 29/12/2020 21:40

Never until 12th night. It goes up on the 20th, so I'm nowhere near sick of it yet.

Zenithbear · 29/12/2020 21:40

Taking mine down tomorrow and all the cards and lights etc. Usually leave it up till the 2nd January but don't want to waste the weekend doing it.

Luffsmypup · 29/12/2020 21:54

Took mine down yesterday, I like putting the tree up on the first weekend of December but once Christmas is over I am sick of the sight of it, plus I like to clean the house properly after Christmas before the new year comes in, and the decorations, cards and tree just get in the way.

Chimeraforce · 29/12/2020 21:56

No. It smells lovely and still looks good after 5 weeks. Oh will get a tarp when he returns to work next week and we'll wrap in that. May leave it on back garden.

deste · 29/12/2020 22:13

All the cards, decorations and one tree down. Two trees to go, I’ll take another down tomorrow and the last one at the weekend.
