Useful hobbies

Iam keen to find myself a new hobby. Something I can pass the time with and enjoy. I am a productive person and for me to make the time for it it will need to be something useful. I already do some cooking and baking but there is only so much food you can eat so would like to try something else. I enjoy crafts with my children so maybe something crafty but not too tricky as I don't have much patience and am a hue perfectionist!

Crochet or knitting? You can make lots of useful things (for your house/to wear) in either of those, and they're both relatively easy to pick up.

If you can knit, perhaps knit blankets/ hats/ booties for premature babies? There's a group in Facebook called the Warm Baby Project and they liaise with hospitals to see what they need. Obviously it's difficult with covid at the moment, but you could knit a stash and have them ready to go?
For anyone who is interested, The Factory Shop sells the best quality baby double knitting wool.
