Hello All, we’re planning on moving from South London to Brighton or surrounding areas in September. Not too far but me and partner will change jobs and kids will go to new schools (DS into Yr3 and DD into Reception) in the area. So a big move for all of us.
We’re both teachers so I’ll be contacting local agencies in January with my CV to make a start. And DP will take a term off to help DC with their transition into school.
We know there’s a lot to do beforehand so we’re bracing ourselves and I anticipate lots of stress.
Could you help me by telling me about your big move stories, warts n all? Particularly if it was during these COVID times. How did you and your DC cope with the change? How easy was it to settle? Thanks in advance.
