Audiobooks for kids

I am after a more reasonable version of playing audio books if there is one for my daughter. We use the audible app and have been downloading from there but on average they are at least £10 a book. Does anyone know of a good way to play audiobooks for kids please? I’m sure I overheard someone talking today about using a child friendly device to play audiobooks (it wasn’t a CD player). Thank you.

My children use Libby - the library app - on their phones :)

Our library uses BorrowBox- you can borrow loads of audiobooks through it.

Thanks everyone. I have downloaded both apps and have already downloaded some of the books.

Do you have to be signed up to a library to use the B or the other app that was mentioned, borrow box? Or can you just sign up? There are quite a few on YouTube as well. I also have an app called epic, that I really like. That has audiobooks too.

With borrow box, yes I think you sign in with your library card number. Most libraries have the ability to sign up online though - I know libraries west do - that covers a massive area of the south west.
