Please help me choose a replacement gift

My DH bought me a lovely Christmas gift - and my sister bought me the same thing! Not wanting to upset her (she's not well off and must have saved VERY hard to buy it for me), we didn't say anything to her and my DH has said he will return the one he bought and wants me to choose something else. I'm being cryptic and not saying what the gift was just in case she stumbles on this thread at a later date as it is quite a niche item and she will immediately know I started this thread.

He says he thinks I should have something really frivolous and fun, nothing sensible, as it's been a difficult year as we are both clinically extremely vulnerable and on the governement shielding list, and he thinks I deserve it, (he's lovely)!

Thing is I have no idea what to choose. I dont need any more craft stuff, have shelves of books still to read and I don't use cosmetics or like girly stuff. I have enough clothing to last another lifetime, and anyway I need to lose some weight before I even think about replacing anything. The budget is about £50, and as we are still shielding we cannot go out shopping so whatever I choose will have to be bought online- so hit me with your ideas ladies!

Do you like baking? New tins? A nice cook book?

A plug in oil diffuser and some nice oils?

Cosy scarf/shawl/socks/slippers?

Lovely bath products?

Plants?

Fire pit
Ember mug (BNIB from eBay, £70 ish so a bit over budget)
A cat (though not available online!)

If you're staying home a lot, why not an everyday thing but a decadent version? I got some 100% cashmere bed socks for Christmas and they are amazing. Far far more expensive than I would ever in a million years have spent on socks, but feel lovely and luxurious and I've barely taken them off since Christmas day. I think White Company have got some in the sales too, so twice as much for your money :)

I had a heated throw last year, it’s been a godsend whilst WFH. I’m hoping I might be able to smuggle it into the office when I go back! Grin

Could you get a related item to the item your sister got?

What do you enjoy doing? Do u want to spend it on something you would have or on a experience like getting one of those restaurant eat at home experience?

Lego? I love building my very own lego set and telling the dc to get their grubby hands off because it is MINE.

Shiatsu back and neck massager.

It’s a small rectangular shape not the seat type and it’s fabulous.

It massages with or without infra red.

Lots on Amazon.
