Cheap pushchair for 1 year old for boot of car

I have a big heavy muddy 3 wheeler pushchair for dog walking, but want something just to keep in the car boot for nipping into shops . I have a chunky tall one year old so needs to be robust, she's just way to heavy to carry. What pushchair would you recommend ?

I had a Mcclaren Classic for my DC. 17yrs later it's still going strong and it has taken serious battering over the years

You would be better off trying to get a good quality buggy like a maclaren or similar second hand than a brand new cheap buggy. Some of the cheaper brands I've used are very difficult to push with a heavy toddler in them.
If you can get a second hand baby jogger city mini, they are a brilliant buggy.

I just used a Joie Nitro after one, it's a lightweight kick up and down stroller. He walked almost everywhere so it was only for nipping in and out of places. I really hated the big buggy though and ditched it as soon as I could.
