We're in SE, weather forecast is for snow overnight. It's been years since we had a good covering of snow!

I'm excited too! And also in SE.
I can't wait for my two dc to wake up in the morning and see if it has snowed

Nah, all depending where you actually are, of course, when you say 'SE'.

Decent snow, in the south, comes well predicted with a big bulge of snow cloud coming up from the south. Not a bit of sleet in among a typical swoop of rain from the SW.
