NYE doorstep moment - is there a theme yet?

Since shouting and clapping on the doorstep has become a thing this year is there a NYE version I need to be aware of? Something along the lines of shouting “up yours corona” or hitting the wheelie bin with a saucepan to signify putting 2020 ‘in the bin’?

Please god no..... We got passive aggressive facebook posts on the streets group for not doing the ‘clap’, half of us did ve day wrong, rememberance day was ‘disrespectful’ aparently, and we have just had whining for not doing the bells..... 🙄🙄 its an estate of about 200 houses and I can’t be doing with the loud inconsiderate sections being stupid after a full day at work, and shouting about others not joining in.

God @Underadesk that sounds exhausting! So glad there isn’t a Fb group for my road (or if there is I’ve not been invited 😳🤣)

I really hope there's nothing planned. Passes us by anyway.

I think we'll all stand on the doorsteps and shout "bang" at intervals as the firework shops were closed down as being non-essential.

Then we all go inside and read all the fb posts about it being unfair to animals.

After all, what people really want is a bunch of normality.

I might get the kids to make a papier-mâché coronavirus and we can all stand in the street and whack it?

That kind of thing op?
