DP and I have recently set up a small business together. We both work full time (me in a salaried role and DP self-employed) so this is very much a side business. I don’t foresee it making us millions anytime soon or either of us leaving our jobs to do it full time.
We’re now looking into how to register it and whether to go for a partnership or as a sole trader in one of our names. What would be the simplest way to do this? And does the fact that DP is self-employed and therefore already submits a tax return (for a very different business) change things?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
