I'm not religious but some religious music can be uplifting. Recommend me an album or artist?

Not religious either but I grew up in a religious home. Gospel music is still one of my favourites even though i don't believe some of the things they sing about. Same way as listening to other non-gospel songs I don't necessarily believe the lyrics of.

These are some of the ones I remember enjoying back then and still do. You may too.

Anything by Don Moen
Mary Mary - Can't give up now (song) and most of their other songs.
Women of Faith - Extravagant grace album.
Women of Faith- Boundless Love (song)
A lot of songs by Kirk Franklin
Kirk Franklin and 1NC album

Sounds of Blackness - uplifting gospel choir. ‘Optimistic’ always gives me goosebumps and lifts my mood if I’m feeling down.

Margaret Rizza
Rachmaninov vespers

Mozart Lacrimosa. Beautiful music. On YouTube they sometimes show the lyrics. Also Gloria in Excelsis Deo. I like the Vivaldi version. He may be the composer , not sure.

Anything in the Taize style. Meditative and calming.
