Bday in lockdown

It’s my birthday this week (turning 27) and stuck in deep lockdown. Also single and live alone! Ordinarily I would have a meal with friends and treat myself but all those things off the cards atm. Any ideas on how to have a lovely day?

Done four birthdays here in deep lockdown we said we will party when its all passed. So I would plan like the Queen for an official birthday

Would you be able to meet a friend for a walk and a takeaway drink? Even a can of G&T, flask of hot chocolate or mulled wine?
Then plan all your favourite treats- favourites for all meals and pick a really good film you haven’t seen to stream. Buy something you really want online. Have a long bath.

I had my 40th in lockdown (the march april one) with DH and the kids.

I had found a lovely excellent new TV series to watch on Prime (Upload), cooked a full meal of my favourites (appreciate easier with other people eating) but without fam, i would have ordered some sushi bonanza from ubereats.

I also did some attempted gardening - not easy in Dec/Jan.

Then i had a zoom and drink with pals whose bday was the same month (we usually celebrate together)

Not the party I had always imagined, but was enjoyable and relaxed. Plenty of fun whatsapp threads with friends too. We made a few plans for later in the year (which did not happen, of course, but planning our big fancy get aways was fun).
