Online mattresses?

Has anyone had success buying a mattress online? Ours is 10+ years old and has a awful dip. I've got a terrible back from it and we are finally in a position to replace but now in tier 4 so can't go try.

Don’t do it. We did and it was a disaster! Yes you can return them but it’s such a faff. You need to try them out first.

That's exactly what I imagined might be the issue!

We got an Otty mattress and a Panda topper.

Both been absolutely fine. Came all rolled up and vacuum packed, it’s amazing how much bigger they grow!

Technically you can return them but we haven’t needed to. I was worried about not being able to try them out first too, but actually how realistic really is lying on one for a few minutes, flat on your back with your shoes on? Not at all I would suggest!

We bought the Premier Inn one because we knew it was comfy! It is lovely.

I recently bought a new futon mattress online and it was fine. I did have a recommendation from a neighbor though ( they’d bought one a few months back) and it wasn’t the cheapest option out there. Some of the cheap ones looked terrible.

I think I'm going to have to be patient and wait to go spend a day trying lots, did think about the Premier Inn one today funnily enough!

Same. It's a very good price for a Hypnos mattress too.
