Leftover duck ideas?

Raera · 26/12/2020 18:29

I've just put a Morrisons' easy carve duck joint in the oven. Pack says serves 5 and there are only 2 of us.
Google search is disappointing for leftover cooked duck. Does anyone have any ideas?
I could do a stir fry, but we have other plans for food over the next couple of days, so anything I could prepare and freeze maybe?
Thanks in advance and Happy boxing day!

You can freeze the cooked duck. Then get yourself some pancakes, shredded veg and hoisin sauce and enjoy.

beaten to was going to suggest hoisin crispy duck in thin chinese pancakes with plum dip in sauce

Thanks, you mean just freeze the meat dry?
I usually freeze cooked meats in gravy or something.

yes just freeze as it comes off the bones that way you have more flexibilty what you put with it when it comes back out

You could shred it before you freeze it and then pan fry it in a sauce.

Hungry now.
