I'll make sure there's a slice of lemon in a g&t later.

Champagne and fancy cashew nuts here!

Barmbraic · 26/12/2020 17:56

What flavour? I didn't get any fancy nuts this year.

I’d rather have wine than champagne but otherwise sounds delicious.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 26/12/2020 18:02

Perfect.

I've had cheese, paté, crackers and pringles followed by a dessert of Quality Street and Baileys.

I think you'll find the more champagne you have, the more you enjoy it. Wine, however, is a perfectly acceptable substitute.

Oh, there's smoked salmon pate in the fridge. I may have to summon a minion child to fetch it.

I'm having homemade garlic bread with cheese (in the pizza oven) dunked in M&S hot lasagne dip and maybe some mini cheeseburgers later for a snack. Christmas food is the best food!

NastyBlouse · 26/12/2020 18:06

I’m making a sort of fake-inoise with the roast potatoes and ends of cheese left over from yesterday.

gingercat02 · 26/12/2020 18:09

Port and chocolate here. Just a snack before the cheese board 🧀🧀

Barmbraic · 26/12/2020 18:20

Perfect to wet (whet?) the appetite

It would have the opposite effect on me!

M&S hot lasagne dip

I never knew this existed, and I definitely need it in my life now.

I've just finished it - well I shared it with ds who ate two thirds - with cheesy garlic bread dipped it in was delicious!
Barmbraic · 26/12/2020 20:30

Hmm...lasagne dip may be tomorrow's dinner.

I was looking at that lasagne dip as a possible for NYE, glad to hear it's good!
