Yesterday was Christmas and DS (13 months) had lovely gifts from other family members. I bought him some clothes in the sale because we're skint. DH lost his job and we're scraping by by the skin of our teeth. DS had a lovely day and neither noticed nor cared that he hadn't received much of anything from Santa.
This afternoon I was having a wee look at Facebook marketplace and someone had listed a push along car for free. I hopped straight in the car to pick it up and it's lovely! DS things its great fun and it has buttons that make noises too. I'm just stunned by this persons kindness. Thanked them profusely at the time obviously but wanted to share my joy,
