I live in an area being flooded and evacuated. we are also tier 4 and being told to forget that, if we need to get out then we go....to relatives, friends,or wherever

we are ok for now, far enough away to not be too worried....yet!

anyone else affected?

OMG that sounds dreadful, I hope you have somewhere warm and dry to go to

The weather has gone mental these past few years.

Fingers crossed for everyone in the same circs. Hope it stops soon.

Are you in Northamptonshire, @GirlCrush? I am sorry, what a horrible thing to happen, today of all days. Just heard a report on the news. Hope you escape the flooding and stay safe.

I’m in north beds

Luckily everyone I know evacuated all have somewhere to go. Not affected yet but I feel for those who have to be

Lots of flooding here in south norfolk and people evacuated from their homes at 3 this morning.., feel awful for them...especially after the year everyone has had, just doesnt seem fair.

I'm in France, got flooded Wednesday night and evacuated at 4 am by firemen. It caught us completely out of the blue. Fortunately my neighbours knocked on my door to tell me to move my car otherwise I'd have woken up with my bed floating.

I managed to get into my house last night but it was hard going as the water was up to my waist but there was no way my DCs were going to wake up to no gifts this morning.

The water has gone down really fast today and hopefully tomorrow we can get into the house to start cleaning and drying. Hopefully everything I lifted has stayed out of water level.

This is my second consecutive Christmas being flooded. But at least this year I saved the treeGrin

I feel so sorry for all affected by floods. Just when you think 2020 can't get any worse. I hope you are well insured op.
