I want to buy a new laptop in the sales and my budget is around £200-£350
It would be mainly for watching Netflix.
I'm hoping to go back to university part time for postgraduate study in September so I'll need a laptop that I can complete essays on. I don't need any of the fancy software packages or anything to complete assignments, they will just be standard essays.
My workplace provided me with an Asus Chromebook so I can work from home. I quite like it but I can't figure out how to do references and a bibliography on Google docs so I think I may be better buying a laptop than buying my own Chromebook - I can't use my work Chromebook for personal use.
I'm confident with Microsoft Word and can use it on my old laptop but I know Chromebooks don't have Microsoft. I think my old laptop is an Asus. It's very old now and has been well used.
That's a bit long winded but I wanted to give some detail on what I need the laptop for. I'm not very techy, something I clearly need to work on!
Please can someone recommend a laptop?
