I've been given a small plastic gadget and I have to guess what it's for.

I have no idea.

Any ideas?

I think you put your finger through the hole then use it to keep book pages open as you read? You put the gadget in the middle of the pages

Frenchfemme · 25/12/2020 11:57

Looks a bit like an orange peeler.

Weedsnseeds1 · 25/12/2020 11:59

Orange peeler. The pointy bit is used to score the skin in quarters, top tp bottom, the you pull off the peel in neat pieces

CuriousaboutSamphire · 25/12/2020 12:00

Oooh! Whatever it is I want one 😁

CuriousaboutSamphire · 25/12/2020 12:01

An orange peeler wouldn't need the wings....

Yes this. But I think it's your thumb that goes through the hole - your fingers will be behind the book.

Yes, it's to help keep books open when you read them!

MrsMoastyToasty · 25/12/2020 12:20

It's a multi funcionario gizmo from Chanel 9 on the Fast Show.
