Just broke the bed!

My dd has a very small bedroom. The bed just fits. Her stocking was at the end of her bed. She also has a creaky part of the floor.

Silly me decided it would be better to lean on the bed and reach for the stocking, rather than risk the floor creaking.

I ended up falling on the bed and hearing an almighty crack. At least 2 of the slats have snapped. Dd has stayed asleep throughout this ordeal .

Please cheer me up with your stocking failures.

Dp had a king sized bed and the slats would never fuse together properly. Even something as simple as turning over in bed and you would hear 'twang twang twang' and feel the vibrations. It was actually hilarious 😂

You could always blame your dp for him breaking the bed in his sleep lol

Sorry not a stocking failure but it still makes me laugh.

I haven’t heard my husband sneeze for literally a year, and so the first sneeze of 2020? Yes, when we were putting the stockings up in the kids’ room.
Lucky they’re heavy sleepers!

DDs fell against the fan she has on in her room (( front cage missing )) and made an almighty racket. She woke up to tell me off for laughing.

Then I bumped into a worried ds on the landing who'd come looking for his stocking because It was late. Hmm

And finally the idiot car alarm over the road went off again for at least the third time tonight.
