Always muppets. Introduced my kids to it today 😬

The one with Ross Kemp, it's been put on britbox so I'm excited I can watch it this year.

Blackadder's Christmas Carol - possibly not one for young DC though.

Mol1628 · 24/12/2020 22:19

The muppets.

Patrick Stewart version comes second.

Lurleene · 24/12/2020 22:20

I'm watching a Mark Kermode documentary about this subject right now. BBC Iplayer Kermodes Secrets if Christmas Cinema :)

mongoosebaby · 24/12/2020 22:27

Blackadder for sure!!

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 24/12/2020 22:28

Muppets

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 24/12/2020 22:59

Undoubtedly the George C Scott one.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 24/12/2020 23:01

Muppets

Blackadder a close second.

Honeyroar · 24/12/2020 23:04

Patrick Stewart or Albert Finney. I can’t get the fuss over the muppets one (I love the muppets but not their films) but my husband loves it.

FadedRed · 24/12/2020 23:04

Definitely the Patrick Stewart one. Also love his version of The Canterville Ghost.

tobee · 24/12/2020 23:08

The Albert Finney one absolutely scared me and gave me nightmares!

Best one was the one we did at primary school Xmas Grin

Justgivemewine · 24/12/2020 23:48

I’ve never seen the Patrick Stewart one but I’ll have to watch it after all the recommendations on here.

I watched the Ross Kemp one this morning and was pleasantly suprised how much I liked it, although dh did walk in and get a fright because he though I was watching Eastenders for a moment 🤣🤣 (we hate eastenders)

Gonkytonk · 25/12/2020 15:21

@FadedRed

Definitely the Patrick Stewart one. Also love his version of The Canterville Ghost.
Ohhhh the Canterville Ghost! Lovely film that I now need to find and rewatch Xmas Smile
