We have the gammon for tomorrow. Can I put it in the slow cooker? If so, how would I cook it in there?

Thanks x

PS the kids prefer gammon that isn’t too salty so any recommendations on how best to cook would be great x

Yes, I did that same one yesterday.
7hrs on low completely covered in apple juice. Then followed the instructions for the glaze in the oven.
Had some earlier in a bread roll - lurvely!

Yep I am, I'm going to put it in the slow cooker at about midnight on low, I'll be up at 8 to do the turkey so I'll get it out then. I just pop it with a bit of water! Done!

I am cooking that exact same one tomorrow! I was planning 4-5 high in slow cooker and then the oven for the glaze 🤞

I always do it with tinned pineapple. The pineapple draws the salt out.

Great, thanks for the ideas. Definitely going in the slow cooker first thing

In Coke in the slow cooker for 4/5 hours then lastly in oven with mustard and honey glaze. It’s delicious.

I always cook my ham in the slow cooker. Cover in cider and cook for 8hours slow or 4 hours high.

As PP said, in coke is how I'm doing ours. I loosely follow Nigella's recipe
