This is a public service announcement for those whose turkey is still in the freezer ...

If your turkey (or whatever you're planning to eat tomorrow) is still in the freezer, then it might be a good idea to take it out now :)
Unless you're planning to eat fish fingers.

(Not that our turkey was still in the freezer half an hour ago at all. Though if it was left to the men in the house it would still be there).

Omg isn't it too late?!? My stuffed crown is in the fridge but will take it out in the morning (not eating til late afternoon).

I just have a breast joint. I checked this morning and it can be cooked from frozen.

I'd assumed morning would be ok as well, but (turkey crown) said to defrost for 20 hours in a fridge. So glad I checked!

Mine is half defrosted. I am new to this. Have removed a small bag from it, are there any other nasty to search for?

@SadbadgladSadbadglad that bag will contain the giblets. Use them to make your gravy. I know it looks like it takes a long time but most of it is simmering. Dont worry if you've not got all the herbs just bung it in and try it anyway with a halved onion ( hint once you've got your turkey out of tray put tray complete with all juices on hob stir in your flour and add stock to tray making gravy in tray.. saves lots of pissing about trying to scrape juices from one pan to another.. add a few drops of red wine with the stock)

Good luck and merry Christmas
