Quick baking advice needed

I mean hardly 'baking' but you know...

Making a Jusrol/Nutella Christmas tree for Christmas day Breakfast. So sheet of puff, Nutella, sheet of puff, twist, egg wash, bake.

Can I create it tonight, cover it and keep it in the fridge to bake in the morning or will it be dry and rank?

It will be fine to make now and keep covered with cling film but egg wash it just before you bake it.
