Anybody recognise this film

I saw this film years ago. Woman's friend needs emergency surgery and she doesn't have medical insurance so woman agrees friend can use her identity. Friend dies so woman loses her own identity. Sounds a bit daft but it was quite good like these far-fetched films sometimes are. Thanks.

I did think that when I posted. Still I have recorded Seven Brides for Seven Brothers to watch for the umpteenth time. That's cheerful. Though I expect Millie would have been told to LTB.

I was thinking about that just the other day! I remember watching that when i was younger, about 7/8 and really enjoying it! Am i right in thinking the song from the crunchie ad is in it? Got a vision in my head of that song playing while she is possibly on a boat?

I could be mistaken, it was a long time ago 😂 but everytime i hear that pointer sisters song i think of that movie 😊

Deceptions! (Book by Judith Michaels)

There was a sequel to Deceptions as well - Tangled Web where the dead twin turns up alive - I still re-read them occasionally!

What about Who is Julia? Where a beautiful woman saves a child from being run over but her body is crushed. The unglamorous child's mum has a brain haemorrhage due to the shock but her body is okay. The doctors transplant the beautiful woman's brain into the frumpy woman's head but then the woman doesn't know which husband she belongs to. It's on YouTube if you want to watch it!
