Bastard Cat has been at the raw pigs in blankets

I prepared all the pibs and turned my back for five mins to make a list. When turned back Bastard Cat was on the worktop having a good sniff/lick. If I cook feck out of them now do you think they’ll be ok? No option to get any more.

Sigh.

@OmarListening

I'd cook and eat them without a second thought.

But then I kiss my cat, and he likes to lick my face. I never get ill, my immune system must be good thanks to him.

So would I.

I recently are cat licked toast. I kiss toe beans and faces too!

soddingkitten · 25/12/2020 09:37

In answer to your original question: we’d cook them well and eat as planned. He only licked them, right? If they were chewed, I might feel differently.

Many years ago, my flat mate and I were sharing a dish of pate, bread and a bottle of Baileys on Christmas morning. After about 20 mins, we realised the cat was sneaking up behind and also sharing the pate and a glass of Baileys.

25 years later, I'm still here to tell the tale.

I'd cook and eat.

Bastard Cat has ignored the presents he received this morning, opting to pounce on me I instead during a phone call. Was very interested in the ham coming out of the oven - cut a bit off, cooked it and put in a bowl for him and he took a sniff then mooched off. He is Bastard Cat.

Thank you OP for the smile you brought to my face. Photo please?

nosswith · 25/12/2020 18:50

Cook and eat. At least that's I do.

He is. But he's an adorable Bastard. What a cute boy!

BaronessBomburst · 25/12/2020 23:11

You can use that photo for next year's Xmas cards. Grin

Ellmau · 25/12/2020 23:50

But he's so pretty! How can you begrudge him the odd pig in blanket? (Even if they're all the ones you cooked, lol)

Soubriquet · 26/12/2020 08:06

For some reason, I thought BC was black and white!

nosswith · 26/12/2020 08:23

Lovely cat.

helpfulperson · 26/12/2020 08:36

How can you be cross at that little face?

Yoffel · 26/12/2020 11:03

We love him to bits even if he is a bastard. Fine. I won’t take him back to the rescue place then.

CatBastard is black and white, @Soubriquet - I may have posted his picture before. Maybe that’s the reason you think BC is too?

Perhaps

Or maybe most b&w cats are bastards anyway Grin

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 26/12/2020 15:42

Apparently he has been duffing up a little cat from down the street, so you may be right, @Soubriquet.

Frownette · 26/12/2020 16:39

@SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius your cat has got a little white tie.

Yes they do sneak up and lick everything. Worst was the dog though, a duck a l'orange was prepared for a dinner party. Dog lept up to eat the whole thing off the counter when it was left alone for a few seconds. She knew she'd done something wrong and hid in her dog bed.

Cats have no such qualms, they just think yeah whatever, get over it

nosswith · 26/12/2020 17:11

Should it be monochrome cats (other fur colours are to be found on other cats)?
