I just saw a radiant bride sat in the back of a classic car

I’m in tier 4 from Boxing Day.

I cried when I saw her. Proper lump in my throat.

It really hit me what’s happening.
I’ve been really holding it together but my emotions leaked out.

This was my dress on Saturday. It was a very lovely occasion in the middle of a bleak time.

Thank you just wish we could do it all over again! Also took the opportunity not to invite people we didn’t want to be there.

Agree everything is heightened atm. Dd came home from uni, it had been nearly two months since we had seen her and I just clung in to her saying I was so pleased to see her. I picked up dd2 from airport after she'd been away a week seeing her boyfriend elsewhere in the uk but had to come back earlier than planned as it started to look dodgy for travel and we did the proper run across the car park to hug thing. Which was a bit weird given she'd only been away a week. I saw a bride in town and wanted to cry too. It's just all a bit hard.

I'm in tier 4 and saw a wedding party the day before yesterday. I welled up because the bride and groom posed for the photo and turned to their tiny party and said ' thank you for coming' and everyone dispersed. Maybe that was their ideal wedding though so who knows?

@JumpJockey Could you ask your friend if she was in a cream coloured classic car going along fen causeway heading out of town at Midday? if so then I saw her.
