I just saw a radiant bride sat in the back of a classic car

I’m in tier 4 from Boxing Day.

I cried when I saw her. Proper lump in my throat.

It really hit me what’s happening.
I’ve been really holding it together but my emotions leaked out.

I saw my aunt and uncle today Tier 3 so socially distanced and they were showing me pictures of their new grand daughter who I've not even met yet who looks an absolute joy. This Christmas feels bitter sweet, we've missed so much this year

I can share some good news too, My brother has just become a grandpa! Brought tears of joy all round the family.

Congratulations Faron. That's lovely news. Our wedding was rearranged and was just days before the second lockdown at the end of October. We didn't make it very public until after the event but everyone we know was so lovely about it all. I honestly think people were happy to hear a bit of nice news. Ours was a lovely intimate day too.

I can’t believe how emotional I felt.

I would be the same. Things like hearing children playing in the playground at the park, when it was allowed again, after so long, had me welling up.

I also saw a bride and groom one day, some months ago. They were strolling around the city centre, with their photographer, and everyone who spotted them was smiling straightaway. Probably a bit teary too, tbh.

I honestly dont remember, I just remember seeing a smiling face and a white dress in a gorgeous classic car.

I became more focused on how I reacted. my eyes filled up and I had a lump in my throat.

Ive been seriously holding it together recently and seeing her made me really emotional.

Maybe JumpJockey can confirm if her friend had a classic car. That would seal it for me

It does sound lovely. A young beautiful bride makes me happy in normal times let alone when we all need positive things to think about.

And I think all brides are beautiful when they are smiling and happy
