When's an acceptable time to have a mulled wine?

Im planning on preparing the veg and stuffing today and thinking a mulled wine would go down a treat while I do it.

When would you class an acceptable time for a mulled wine!?

If you’re outdoors: any time.

At home: ummm after lunch?

11am - normal pub opening time(!)

11am sounds like an acceptable time! And i guess that's just before lunch so not toooooo early!

3pm with the Nine Lessons and Carols? You don’t want to peak too soon.

Christmas Eve... anytime once you're up. I think I'd still draw a line at having it in bed (in the morning)...

Its currently warming and will be adding a dash, or 2 of amaretto!

It's definitely allowed as soon as it's pm and it's the rule if you are cooking .

Just done a 20 mile cycle ride and a swim in the river. I was up at 5am so am totally justified in starting drinking now! Mulled wine with smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels!
Then it's on with veg prep.
