Mystery seeds

On my bedroom floor I found a pile of dark brown seeds like sesame seeds but very dark. Where can they be from ?

Are they not carpet moth casing?
If you have wool carpet then I suggest pulling out furniture and looking under sofas and beds in dark areas to see if you have holey carpets appearing.

I take it there's no dried flowers in your room? Failing that any chance you have mice?

They are brown not black and same as seeds so not mouse poo. There are no carpet holes.

No dried flowers and seeds is just one pile in middle of the room all together

We Can't see them so unless you have a photo he can anyone say 'yes...that'll be poppy seeds that your husband picked off his bagel and left on the floor' with any conviction.
