Every year I get twitchy that the turkey is not thawing quick enough, wrapper says 39 hours in the fridge and I put it in there at lunchtime...the fridge is really, really good at it’s job and I’m worried (every year, I’m too anxious to try and get one fresh closed to the day so frozen is how I manage my anxiety but just I’m obsessing about defrosting). Does anyone do the cold water defrosting method? Does it work as I checked online and that would take 4 hours.
