I am beginning to think my friend's engagement ring was cursed because not only did she turn into a complete Bridezilla, everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong, and that's not even considering Covid.

She had never quite accepted that it wasn't going ahead so that last week came with a complete shock. Now we are all scrabbling together to put together something last minute and all I am hearing about is another lockdown

Weddings can only take place in tier 4 in exceptional circumstances eg where one of the people getting married is terminally ill.
